2014 Community Health Fair
Dear Friends, Family and Honored Guests:
We, at the Franklin Road Church of Christ extend to each of you a personal invitation to join us at our Health Fair that will be taking place on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
We will be hosting the Mobile Mammography Unit sponsored by St. Thomas Health. This program, "Our Mission in Motion" brings screening mammograms directly to women in our community. The program targets employed, underinsured and uninsured women. The Mobile Mammography Coach will be at the Franklin Road Church of Christ from 9:00am - 1:00pm. - CPR Training ( No certification issued)
- Blood Pressure Testing
- Glucose Testing
- Pediatric Dentist on site
- Limited Flu shots available with insurance
- Free Health Screening
- Free Information and Resources & Free Snacks
As you can see from the above links, there are a number of services offered to assist in one's continued efforts to maintain optimum health within an active life style. We all know, as children of the Lord, "your bodies are not your own" (I Cor. 6:19), but they are to be extensions of the Lord himself. We can only serve the Lord with the bodies we have, so let's keep them as healthy as we can for as long as we can. Please join us, and invite your relatives, friends and neighbors as well, in a relaxed, health focused atmosphere of mutual fellowship, as we pursue a more informed attitude toward our bodies that the Lord has entrusted in our care.
